Developed in collaboration with Anders Eriksson, a renowned expert in long-reining and classical groundwork.
This flexible lunging surcingle features a jointed arch for maximum adjustability and comfort. Crafted from Swedish vegetable-tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri, it offers excellent breathability and is gentle on the horse’s skin. The leather softens and molds naturally with use, providing superior comfort. Free from heavy metals such as chrome, it is safer for the environment, animals, and humans.
The panels are stuffed with horsehair for an anatomical fit and optimal pressure distribution.
The arch includes two high-mounted rein rings, allowing easy adjustment of rein height. Its rectangular shape helps lift the reins away from the horse’s neck, reducing the risk of pressure and discomfort.
All hardware is made of stainless steel for durability and rust resistance.

Our surcingle is available in Full and Pony sizes.
Tips & Advice
Pony size is recommended for A-C ponies.
Adjustable Girth Options: Surcingle girths are available in various lengths, allowing you to adjust the fit. This makes the surcingle highly adaptable and suitable for a wide range of horse types.
Recommended Accessory: A back strap with crupper is an excellent complement. It helps stabilize the surcingle and prevents it from sliding forward toward the horse’s shoulders.

Craftmanship
All our products are handcrafted by experienced artisans at our in-house saddlery using vegetable tanned leather from Swedish bovine hides. The majority of our hides are sourced from local farmers in the county of Uppland.
