Leather wrapping straps for wrapping handrails. The handrail gets a classic beautiful look and develops a wonderful patina over time.
The straps are sold in 10 meter rolls in descending lengths. The edge of the strips is thinned.
The leather is Swedish bovine that have been vegetable tanned at Tärnsjö Garveri.
Which width should I choose?
Measure the diameter of the bar and multiply by 1.25. Then choose the width that is closest to the measurement you got.
The strips are available in 30, 40 and 50mm wide in the colors black, light brown and cognac.
We usually calculate that it takes 4 meters of strip to 1 meter of bar.
Leather is a natural material and variation in color may occur.
Unfortunately, we can’t give tips and advice on how to perform the winding.

Craftmanship
All our products are handcrafted by experienced artisans at our in-house saddlery using vegetable tanned leather from Swedish bovine hides. The majority of our hides are sourced from local farmers in the county of Uppland.
