In our saddlery, experienced saddlers take over where the tannery leaves off. With deep knowledge, tradition, and a fine touch, they refine our vegetable-tanned leather into products that last for generations.
Here, everything is created from classic equestrian items and exclusive accessories to custom-made interior details, leather wrapping, and special projects for public and private environments.
With a combination of traditional methods and modern tools, our saddlers can carry out almost any assignment – always with a focus on function, durability, and craftsmanship that is visible in every detail.

4 steps from idea to finished product

If you as a company wish to produce your leather products in Sweden, you have come to the right place. We are happy to assist you with the development of your product. We do not offer ready-made solutions; instead, you provide the ideas and clear, dimensioned drawings. Naturally, we assist with material selection and technical solutions.

When we develop new products together with customers, this is our workflow:

STEP 1
Tärnsjö Garveri assessment

Assessment

Email sales@tarnsjogarveri.se with your ideas and documentation for your product. Attach an image or drawing and information about the product, as well as the estimated quantity. We review your documentation and make an assessment as to whether the product is suitable for our production.

STEP 2

Prototype

If the product is deemed suitable for our production, a prototype is then made. To be able to create the prototype, we require detailed drawings with exact dimensions, and any specific details must be clearly marked. The price for the prototype is based on actual costs.

STEP 3
Tärnsjö Garveri Sewing

Pilot Series

Following the approval of the prototype, a pilot series is produced. The purpose of the pilot series is to produce the product in a smaller run to establish a correct production price. Any clichés and die-cutting tools are manufactured for the pilot series; these are always charged to the customer. Approved formats for originals for cliché production are PDF and EPS. The price for the pilot series is set after the prototype is completed.

STEP 4

Production

Once the pilot series is complete, we can set a production price. The product is assigned an article number and the minimum quantity per order is determined. Then we are ready to begin producing your products.

Give your stair railings an exclusive, warm feel with leather wrapping in vegetable-tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri. Our experienced saddlers perform the work with precision for a result that is elegant, tactile, and unique – and which develops a beautiful patina over time.
