A beautiful potholder that protects you from hot lids and molds. Also a stylish interior detail to hang in the kitchen. The back of the potholder is made of vegetable tanned split leather, which is a heat resistant material and was traditionally used in welding gloves.
Leather is a natural material and therefore there may be variations from product to product. Each part is made by hand at Tärnsjö Garveri and has a unique pattern.
Beautiful patina will mark the product over time and tell a story for generations to come. A story about the product being used, cared for and worn with love.

Craftmanship
All our products are handcrafted by experienced artisans at our in-house saddlery using vegetable tanned leather from Swedish bovine hides. The majority of our hides are sourced from local farmers in the county of Uppland.
