Description
Leather wrapping strips for handrails. The handrail acquires a classic, beautiful appearance and develops a wonderful patina over time.
The strips are sold in 10-meter rolls in varying lengths (Please note that the total length is 10 meters). The edges of the strips are skived (the edge is thinned).
The leather consists of Swedish bovine hides, vegetable-tanned by us at Tärnsjö Garveri.
Which width should I choose?
Measure the diameter of the rod and multiply by 1.25. Then select the width closest to the measurement you obtained.
The strips are available in 30, 40, and 50 mm widths in the colors Black 8175, Amber 8825, Cognac 8695, and Chestnut 8697.
Leather is a natural material, and therefore color variations occur; each strip has a unique pattern.
As a guideline, expect to use 4 meters of strip for 1 meter of rod.
